After pairing a tag with the Wayzn app, it's time to put it on your pet. Please follow these instructions carefully to ensure the system works as designed.

Positioning the tag
The ideal position for the tag is near the bottom center of your pet's collar, just to the side of your pet's name tag. However, the signal sent by the tag is directional, so the Wayzn Pet Tag must be placed on the correct side to work effectively.
Position the Wayzn tag so it faces toward the receiver when the pet is entering the home. This means the tag will face away from the receiver when the pet is exiting the home.
In other words, when standing inside the home, if you pull your door left to open it, the tag goes on your pet's left side, and if you pull your door right to open it, the tag goes on your pet's right side.
For a left-opening door, the tag goes on the pet's left so it faces the receiver when entering.
For a right-opening door, the tag goes on the pet's right so it faces the receiver when entering.
Attaching the tag
To attach the tag:
Step 1
Hold the tag in the correct position (left or right of center, as instructed above).
Step 2
Wrap the excess strap material around the inside of your pet's collar until it passes through and extends out the bottom.
Step 3
Gently pull the end of the strap toward you and guide it over the bottom post of the tag. Be sure the bottom post of the tag passes completely through the hole in the strap to secure it in place.
After setting up and attaching your tags, follow the instructions on how to adjust your Smart Pet Door settings in the Wayzn app that determine how and when the Wayzn Pet Tag will open the door.
