Each individual who wishes to set up or control a Wayzn Smart Pet Door must have their own Wayzn account.

If you download and launch the Wayzn app you will (typically) be prompted to first give certain permissions to the app. You must give the app Bluetooth permission, if prompted, in order to complete the setup process. If you wish to operate the Smart Pet Door remotely while you are away from home, please also allow the app to send you notifications.

Next you will be prompted to register a new account or log in with an existing account. To create a new account, choose "Register."

Enter your name, email address and create a password when prompted. Wayzn will then confirm your email address by sending you an email. Check your email account when prompted to access the email and click the link provided. 

After your email is verified you can return to the Wayzn app. This time, choose "Login" and enter your credentials to proceed.

Note: You can log out of your account at any time from the Wayzn app home page by clicking the three dots in the upper right corner to access the main menu, then selecting "Logout."

If this is your first time logging in, you will be prompted to read and accept the Wayzn Terms of Service. 

Next, the Add Wayzn process will begin automatically. If you have additional Smart Pet Doors to add to your Wayzn app you can repeat the Add Wayzn process as many times as necessary from the Wayzn app home page by selecting the "Add Wayzn" button.

When the Add Wayzn process begins you will be prompted to indicate if you are adding a Smart Pet Door that belongs to you or someone else. If you are the primary user (aka "owner") of the device select "Add My Wayzn." If someone else is the primary user and you will be an "additional user" then select "Scan QR Code".

Next, you will be prompted to indicate if the Smart Pet Door still needs to be physically installed, or if it is already installed. 

If the device still needs to be installed, select "Installation Instructions" and continue to the Install your Smart Pet Door process.

If the device is already installed, select "Mine is Already Installed" and skip to the second step in the Add Wayzn process: Pair your Smart Pet Door with the Wayzn mobile app.
