Deleting a Smart Pet Door from the Wayzn app
If you need to remove your Smart Pet Door from the Wayzn app, you can do so as follows.
Step 1
Open the Wayzn mobile app and navigate to the home page. Locate the device you wish to remove.
Step 2
Place your finger on the tile for your device, then swipe it off the screen.
Step 3
When prompted, click "Yes" to confirm that you wish to proceed with the deletion.
If you'd like to re-add your Smart Pet Door, follow these steps to pair your Smart Pet Door with the Wayzn mobile app.
Uninstalling a Smart Pet Door
To physically remove your Smart Pet Door, follow these simple steps.
If you used the adhesive tape to install:
Pivot your Smart Pet Door down into the engaged position. Pull slowly, straight up, on the tape strips connecting the frame adapter to the frame until they release. Take care not to pull too fast or too hard because the tape strips may break and could snap back into your fingers. After removing the Smart Pet Door from the doorway, repeat this stretching process for the tape strip connecting the door adapter to the sliding panel of the door until it releases.
If you used wood screws to install:
Pull straight up on your Smart Pet Door to slide it up and off the frame adapter. Use a screwdriver to unscrew the two screws connecting the frame adapter to the frame. Do the same for the two screws connecting the door adapter to the sliding door panel.
