Yes, the receiver can detect the tag through the wall so your pet can let itself in using the tag.

In order to differentiate between pets passing through the area, and pets sitting at the door, the system requires that the tag be near the receiver for several seconds before the system responds, and additional time is required for authentication and communication between components of the system.

In order to make the tag enclosure waterproof, it requires a rubber gasket and a fair amount of pressure between the two halves of the enclosure.

No, it is important to use the plug and cable supplied with Wayzn Pet Tag to ensure correct operation.

A red light indicates your receiver is checking for new software updates. A blinking red light indicates that new software is being downloaded to the receiver or passed along to a tag. During software updates the system may become temporarily inactive. 

Unfortunately, we don't have any plans at this time to make a smaller tag. As an alternative to the tag, many Wayzn Smart Pet Door users with secure yards pair the device with an Alexa-compatible camera and use an Alexa routine to activate Wayzn when motion is detected outside. The product can be returned within 30 days of delivery. Unopened products are fully refundable, and opened products are subject to a 20% restocking fee. Shipping charges are not refundable.
